I think I have overshared Chenille, so let's talk about plaid and velvet! I've been looking at this amazing velvet jacket over the past few weeks and finally decided to go to the J. Crew Factory Store to check it out. I got a little worried when I couldn't find the jacket, but when I asked a sales person she showed me it was hanging on a random rack behind some men's pants. I tried on the jacket and absolutely fell in love! I had another salesperson price the jacket for me, since there was nothing on the rack telling me what the discount was, and to my surprise it was 50% off! I would say to stick with your normal size, unless you plan to pair some heavy sweaters under it. The jacket is really lightweight, so you will definitely need to layer if you are planning to wear it as your outer layer in the winter! I had seen the bomber jacket paired with a really cute plaid skirt online and I started looking for the skirt. To my surprise, the skirt was 60% off, which took the price to $30 something. The skirt is wool and is lined so you don't feel any of the itchy fabric. I sized up one size in the skirt because of the lining, but if you have a store near you I would try on your normal size and see. The skirt and the bomber jacket were less than $100, which is great because the jacket itself was over $100. I plan on wearing these pieces so much this year and I can't wait to mix and match them with other outfits in my wardrobe! You will see the jacket again very soon! My tank is from Loft and is currently on sale for $10. My monogram necklace is also part of a Holiday sale and is discounted! All items are linked below!
